The main aim of my thesis was to re-establish their former individual creation. When rendering images, I came from my heart that emotionally involved in deciding the final constellation of colors. The resulting series of images is processed oil painting technique using mainly medium formats. The composition of paintings based on geometric abstraction and draw on previous work by increasing the details of their own earlier paintings. The operational objective was to search for color variations that inherently express different emotional states. The work focuses primarily on finding harmonious interplay of color tones.

Human as a being of the centre and a modest commentary of Herder's philosophy

Main goal of this work is to mediate an approach for czech reader to almost forgotten philosophy of Johann Gottfried von Herder, who published his books in the 18. century. This student of I. Kant is absolutely someone, who should not be eliminated from a group of authors who determined enlightement thinking. It is not just coincidence that Goethe himself called Herder as Brother Humanus. The exact term of humanity is rightful goal of my interpretation. Why? Because humanity is a fundamental basic term of whole Herder's philosophy. This work claims to analyze two main works of this philosopher, Essay on the origin of language and The Evolution of Humanity, which is the czech translate of his Ideas for the philosophy of humanity. And we will analyze this two texts in a way, which shall show us the interconnections between them. The we will move into synthetic chapter called Herder's concept of humanity. There I will put the previous interpretation into confrontation with more of Herder's books and I will show what humanity means to Herder and why is it so central term for his whole philosophy. The image of the vampire in popular media

From the beginning of the twenty first century vampires begin to appear in other genres other than the horror and their image in popular media starts to change. The changes begin not only in the image but also the perception of vampire in popular media shifts into new directions. These changes are interconnected and influence each other. The thesis will analyse the ways vampires are portrayed in films and TV series from the end of the twenties century until recent times. The changes happening will be explored across different genres and across time. The thesis will then attempt to examine whether there is a pattern of trends within the observed forms, and whether these trends are common across the different genres.

Female Nudes in Paintings Dutch Renaissance Masters. Interpretations of Works of Art from Czech Collections. Abstract The bachelor thesis focused on a few selected works by Dutch Renaissance masters. The bachelor thesis is based on women nudes. To be more precise it stands on portrayal of woman nude in the art works of Dutch Renaissance painters. The nudes were divided into three different thematic groups. First group is focused on paintings with the sacral theme (Madonna and child, Susannah and the Elders, The death of Mary Magdalena). Second group brings out paintings with the profane theme (Half- length Figure of a Woman Naked to the Waist). The last group concentrates paintings of Ancient Rome (The Suicide of Sophonisba, The Suicide of Lucretia). The art works, that were chosen to be scrutinize, can be found in the czech collections of art. Each and every painting was characterized in detail using the iconography analysis, set in the period and compared to other art works that relate to them and are placed in worldwide galleries. This thesis aim is to accurate the significance of women nudes in the art works of the Dutch Renaissance masters.

The Use of the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church on the Issue of Solitude of Seniors

The Master's Thesis deals with the issue of solitude of seniors. It examines the solitude from theological, psychological and sociological point of view and seeks inspiration in the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. It tries to understand the position of Benedict XVI. who says that the most painful kind of poverty is solitude. The acquired knowledge is then viewed through the optic of social work and possible solutions of the problem of solitude of seniors are suggested.

Jack London, The Star Rover, Its Inspiration and Philosophical Content

This bachelor thesis focuses on American naturalism and its beginnings. Further it outlines Jack London's biography and his major works. The biggest emphasis is laid on the analysis of the novel The Star Rover. It is analyzed from the view of philosophical content, conception of humanity, reincarnation, prisons, the brutality of a prison system, transcendence, the freedom of a human existence, and an unusual "astral theory".
